6 questionsHow do I book a service?
Visit your pro's booking link (e.g.,
pawdash.app/book/their-slug), pick a service, choose a date and time, fill in your info and your pet's details, then pay securely with a card. You'll get a confirmation email and the pro will be notified.Do I need an account?
No. Customers can book without signing up. Just enter your email at checkout and you'll get a confirmation with a link to message your pro.
When am I charged?
Your card is charged at the moment of booking through Stripe. If the pro declines or you cancel within their refund window, you'll be refunded automatically.
How do I cancel or change a booking?
Reply to your confirmation email or open the booking-thread link in it to message your pro directly. Each pro publishes their own cancellation window and fee - you'll see it on the review step before paying.
What if my pet is sick or behaves badly?
Be honest in your booking notes - list allergies, medications, fears, reactivity, and anything else the pro should know. Pros can refuse service if a pet poses safety risks. Honesty protects everyone.
Is my card information safe?
Yes. PawDash never sees or stores your card details. All payments are processed through Stripe, which is PCI-DSS Level 1 certified.

7 questionsHow do I get paid?
Set up Stripe Connect on the Earnings page. Once approved, payouts land in your bank account on Stripe's 2-day rolling schedule after each booking.
What does PawDash charge?
A per-booking platform fee: 9% on Free, 6% on Starter, 4% on Pro. Plus the Starter and Pro monthly subscription ($12 and $24). Unlimited bookings on every plan. See full pricing on the home page.
Can I require vaccination records?
Yes. In Services, edit a service and turn on "Require vaccination records." Customers booking that service will have to upload a vaccination doc at checkout - you'll see it on the booking detail page.
How do cancellations work?
On Pro, you can set a per-service cancellation window and late-cancel fee. Customers see the policy on the Review step. If a booking falls outside the window, the customer is refunded in full; inside the window, the configured fee is retained. You can also mark a booking as "No-show" - no refund issued.
Can I customize my booking page?
On Pro, yes - upload a banner image, pick an accent color, and the Verified Pro badge appears on your profile. Starter removes PawDash branding from your storefront. Free uses platform defaults.
How do clients message me?
Every booking has a built-in thread. Customers see a link in their confirmation email; messages show on the booking detail page in your dashboard.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes. On Plan & billing, click "Manage subscription" to open the Stripe billing portal where you can cancel or switch plans. You'll keep access through the end of the paid period.
